Our Metal Roofing Options
Standing seam panels join at raised seams with the fasteners hidden underneath. We offer standing seam in steel or aluminum. Ribbed (exposed-fastener) steel panels are screwed through the face of the panel; we've estimated them on houses, porches, garages and barns, and they come in steel only. Round-wave corrugated panels are mostly for barns and sheds. Copper, metal shingles and stone-coated steel are priced job by job from current market rates and product availability. We mostly install Englert and Everlast metal, and we can source most other brands.
We use high-temperature underlayment on every tear-off and new-construction metal roof. Snow guards are optional; we usually put them over the entrances to the house. When an existing shingle roof is in very good shape, without a lot of dormers or rotten decking, we can sometimes install purlins or 2x lumber over it and put the metal on top. We also handle Roof Replacement with Owens Corning shingles and Slate Roofing.
